Love it here and enjoy just vegging out looking out over the river.BUT there is always that group of Campers who think they are so SPECIAL they don't need to follow the rules. I don't care of you dog is a pup or 16+ years old, keep it tied up, I DON'T WANT TO BE CLEANINING UP AFTER IT ON MY OWN SITE.People don't want to have to stop so you can come running after your dog you haven't kept a eye on, or simply some people are afraid of dogs especially when they are loose and no one is around to call it. Rules are there for a reason PLEASE follow them.. and realize all campers are special not just you. I didn't appreciate having to pick up the chocolate cake your dog left me on my site

Spent a week at CCV with my fiance and our dog. We showed up and were sent to a small exposed site. I went back to the front desk and they were very helpful in finding me a perfect site to set up our tent and easy-up. We had a fantastic time there. The staff was friendly and the dog park/agility course was great for our high energy boxer. I would definetely reccomend this campground and will be back in future years.

We had another great weekend at CCV over the 4th of July this year. Looks like some work is going on around "back"! Are you upgrading again, Lee? Thank you Nancy for your help on Saturday! See you again soon!

Here we are in November...UH! Camping season was cut short for me and I never got my CCV fix. But! There are rumors that there just may be a site or two open in the Off Season! No Snow yet....No Ice either..... Just might have to check the propane tank levels and make a run!

We are so excited. We have been attempting to get a seasonal site here that meets our needs (camper size) BUT we hit the jackpot. We got a seasonal on the water and couldn't be more thrilled. SO looking forward to having a place our Jack can run and play off his leash and meet other furry buddies. They will have to evict us to get rid of us now LOL a site on the water!! Look forward to meeting other seasonal campers as well and all campers!

I just left the campground after spending 11 glorious days on a lakefront site. This was by far the best campground I have been to. The marked hiking trail was fabulous. My dog "Fenway" and I walked every day and there always seemed to be something new to see and experience. Not only are the sites great but what makes it a notch above the rest is the Staff. Helpful, friendly which made my stay very pleasant and relaxing. Mark is a hoot! Will definately stay again and will recommend to my friends.
